“ I come here after my nearby appointments and like to pick up fresh veggies and fruit. On a high note, I picked up kohala longan one time for $8.99/lb. Some were mushy and spoiled but most were delicious. It's the most sweet longan I have ever tasted! ”
“ I've grew up going to this market from my Grandmother taking me as well as my Mother. This Supermarket is so nostalgic. They carry everything Asian that you would need. Quality produce, seafood, and meats all at an affordable and reasonable price. Also the ambience is how should I say it authentic. I guess that's why they have so many customers coming from different cities just to shop here. ”
“ Very cheap prices for pretty much everything in the store. A large selection of vegetables, some Asian veggies you can't find anywhere else. Large varieties in sauce and ca.n goods too. It is very crowded on a weekday, can't imagine what it's like on weekends. Best to go early in the morning ”
“ This is a Vietnamese supermarket, so you'll find more Vietnamese products in addition to the usual Chinese fare. For example, they have nem nuong, which has become increasingly hard to find in Chinese supermarkets. I came during mooncake season, so they had a decent variety of mooncakes, primarily from Vietnam. In keeping with their name, they have a good seafood section as well. Produce is reasonably priced compared to other Asian supermarkets, and consists of your usual Chinese veggies as well as some southeast Asian herbs you wouldn't normally find elsewhere. ”
“ Competitive prices and fresh produce. There is a reason why the oranges were 0.19/lb. They were a bit dry, but not too bad. The pomelos were 0.99 each. Although not the juiciest or sweetest I've ever had, it was not bad too. All their herbs are already prepackaged in bags. 3 crab brand fish sauce was $4.99 a bottle. I like that they have more Vietnamese ingredients than 99 Ranch does. ”
“ Clean, not too busy, EXCELLENT prices. Great selection of fresh food, Thai bananas, Mexican mangoes, it is truly a world market. Regarding ambience, it is actually surprisingly quiet. No mood music. No commercialized speaker squawking at you all the time. Just do your shopping, and get on your way. One of my favorite markets when I'm in the area. ”
